HeviMovers feature one-piece cast frames of high-strength, weldable, annealed, ductile iron. Precision ground and hardened steel rollers form an endless chain which revolves around a central load bearing plate in the frame. The weight of the load is transferred directly from the load bearing plate to the rollers, eliminating axle friction and requiring less motive power to start and move the load. Since the load is supported by several rollers on each HeviMover, they roll right over racks and pitted areas.
Swivel Top models offer maximum maneuverability, allowing turns of any degree. The full-width swivel top 360° on chrome steel ball bearings.* A spring loaded locking mechanism can be engaged in notches at 45° intervals.* The notchesaid in parallel realignment of the HeviMovers after turns have been made. Gradual turns can be made while the load is in motion and sharper turns while the load is stationary.
